This photograph represents one of those little gifts we hardly ever notice, usually found in between one busy eternity and another, whereby we catch a glimpse of simple beauty and are gracefully transported to where such perfection abides, for a brief and colorful moment, without strain, effort or struggle.
It doesn't last long and maybe that's why we hardly notice it. But that's what a little camera is good for and that is why I've learned to carry it everywhere I go. I never know when these glimpses of timeless wonder are going to pop up along my strenuously busy path, but I do know I don't want to miss any of them.
Good old technology, I say! We badmouth it left and right, and yet, when we use it wisely and benevolently, it can take us straight to the heart of the Cosmos, and when we least expect it!
