A very strange winter we are having here in northern Michigan. It snows, it melts then snows and melts some more. I have had my eye on this little evergreen on the horizon as it is on my way home. I don't know what kind of tree it is but it does have needles as it is always green even now that the ground is white again. This photo was taken in mid January after another thaw. It was a gorgeous sunny day with temps up into the 50's. This tiny but mighty little tree standing so solitary always lifts my spirits every time I pass it by.
