Sometimes it is difficult to make a decision about an image, and such was the case when creating a digital painting of Alium, a.k.a. garlic and/or chives for the Allium show. It was narrowed down to 2 categories, represented by color: Blue and Yellow. These images represent the Yellow group.

They were created in this style for decorative purposes and do not necessarily reflect their true color although some of the natural color does come through in places.

Instead of illustrating detailed images I have chosen to show variations on the theme, for the sake of decorative styles and creativity. Each version was created and processed in both Photoshop and Studio Artist to achieve the final effects. The last image represents the original photo upon which these images were based.
