I love my wild song birds that come every summer. I entice them by planting glorious flowers around my pond. Alliums lure the Goldfinch in. I have everything from the humble chives allium to the tall drumstick allium. Here I painted the 3' Allium sphaerocephalon not quite in bloom. This is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting (much bigger than the miniatures I usually paint) Enjoy!
