The best-known sources for seed beads are The Czech Republic and Japan, although some others are producing them, too. The Italians are turning them out in perfectly GLORIOUS colours, but seem to want to keep it a secret. I've used Italian iridescent aqua and violet seed beads in the ndbele stitch band of this bracelet, and again in the ruffled box clasp. The centrepiece is a vintage filigree that I've set with vintage Swarovski white opal crystal rhinestones.
