There are many days during the fall in Michigan where the bright earth-colors actually glow. The yellow and light orange leaves have soaked up so much sunlight that if you stand under a maple tree at night, you'll see the leaves glowing. If you get a chance, don't miss the fall in Michigan - it is gorgeous. Can you tell - I love this state!
I made this bracelet during the fall of 2008 to try and capture the colors of fall. It is made with glass beads on beading wire. There is a nice mix of grass greens, ambers, dark oranges and burnished yellow intermixed with clear glass. The clear glass gives the eye a break from all the color. I deliberately used glass beads with many bubbles and textures inside.
