This piece represents the uncertainty of life, the fear of death, and the idea that our souls might actually continue after we die. There is something sinister, yet peaceful here. Beautiful, but terrifying. This was done in honor of my younger brother. He is currently in remission after a 2 year battle with brain cancer. His fight showed me proof that a person's will can conquer illness.

This piece was done on a 4 x 6 vintage game card with vintage magazine images, a tarot card image, and a postcard image. A sealant has been applied that I mixed granite crystals into - this resembles gold leaf. The words on the collage are the same as the title. This is ready to hang - I have attached a paper bag handle to the back, or feel free to cut it off and frame it.
