I have always liked looking at the woodcuts and etchings done after the WWII by people who survived the "camps". Everything about them was so intense and emotional and amazing. I did a whole series based on my intreptations of those pieces, based on my already established style of using transparencies, seeing nuts and bolts, and straps, bones, muscles, and various other things that might hold someone together. These are put together as children(?), survivers(?), what ever.
