This infrared image of a cow in Portland, Oregon was done in black and white - of course a natural choice considering the subject!! When I think of a cow, their beautiful cowhide intstantly comes to mind - with bold blocks of solid white and black. I wanted to highlight this pattern by photoshoping the final result with a mosaic filter. For some reason, I'm wondering why Chuck Close never painted a cow?!
