I like cows. So, when I saw these blue & green cow salt & pepper shakers on sale for 79 cents apiece I had to buy them. Then, I had to bring them home, knock them off the counter & break them into a kazillion pieces--except for the heads. I had this planter that I got at a going out of business sale & had been planning to paint for ages. But, I was tired of painting & every now & then glancing at my bucket of mosaic bits... Voila, the 2 headed cow planter. It's very different in appearance from a lot of my other work...but similar in the sense that it was born of my love of bargains & tacky schtuff.
