Do we have an inner true-self hidden behind a mask we present to the outside world? Do we become unsure which is our true-self and which is the mask? Perhaps even the clairvoyant whose genuine knowledge, long exaggerated by the showmanship of the cirque loses sight of that which is real and that of the show.
