Blue hydrangea always seems summery to me--it's such a lovely bush that blooms either pink or blue depending on the composition of the soil.

This is painted in an expressionistic style in professional-grade watercolors so that the pigments are bright and non-fading. It's painted on 5x7" Aquabord and then sprayed with several layers of non-yellowing varnish so that it can be safely framed without glass.
