Our tux, Jake, took a stroll by the pond one summer night and learned very quickly that he was not the only King in these parts.  What a shock to Jake who always assumed there could be only one King of the Land.  This fantasy painting was done with acrylics on stretched canvas.  It was inspired by Jake (obviously) and the pond of frogs that live by our front door.  Jake is an indoor cat so this scene is pure fiction but I tend to be very fond of nonsense and fun possibilities associated with the lives of my mischievous cats.
