Perhaps the bravest and hardest working element of war time, the fearless horse.

To create this painting, I used heavy texure to depict the raw, unforgiving elements. Acrylic paints in a firey red, and rich gold where used to give the impression of fire, the burning desire to conquer and carry his rider to victory.

However, even horses used for purposes other than direct combat played a critically important part of successful military ventures. There are still some uses for horses in the military even in today's modern world.
