Another study done for a drawing class; this was my first attempt to really draw anything from life. My hand looks exaggerated in this piece --- a little longer than in life, but the pose itself was an awkward one. Created with a grid template on plexiglass, the hand was pressed against the template and looked a little off. I worked quite a bit on this study, but didn't quite hit the mark... I'm much happier with the "Hand and Scissors" study I did next.
