SOLD "The bone Christ crucified" is a story of the hunger of humanity for the Divine. This Christ is stripped of all his flesh and streams of grace flow out from the wounding. The written words are the "Jesus Prayer" Two queens pray kneeling seeking to help those in torment ,and below the lines are multitudes in limbo crying out for some relief . The straems of grace are the divine non verbal graces and the words are the human response. The inspiration for this is from an illuminated manuscript and I have changed it into an ex voto. Painted on a found canvas and framed in a found frame.
