This is one of my favorite acrylic paintings that I've created. The inspiration that created this piece was totally spontaneous. I had been wanting to create a religiously-oriented piece for some time and I was fortunate enough to visualize it when I least expected it. The message of Christ's love is something I wuld like to "send" everyone, and so I chose to have it appear as a postcard of sorts with an inspirational purpose. In the near center of the painting is a representational form the iris and pupil of an eye, only it is Earth with footprints in the black circle that would be the pupil. The messages of the Bible are those that I feel are universal, so I used as many universal images as possible to compensate for the english text. I feel that the text gives a fitting accent to an otherwise simple and anonymous image.
