This is a piece from a new series I'm working on. Dealing entirely with 'paper dolls' and created with paper, on paper. Original doll parts are created by hand, cut out and then reassembled and attached to the background. 'Handling the Shy Child' is very near to my heart, as I was a ~shy child~ myself. While many shy children may have a hard time finding their voice 'orally' I think many do, utilizing both visual art and the written word. Or as here, both.
