Flagstone is a lightly textured abstract rich in color and layers yet maintains an earthy feel. This set mimics the mood and colors inspired by a 2 week stay at a house overlooking a huge canyon in northern Arizona. I have adapted a unique technique using large trowels. I rarely use a traditional paintbrush. I paint according to mood and desire, never really having any preconcieved notion of what will be created.
