It is obvious to all whom know me that I really should have lived in a much earlier time. I surround myself with antiques, and have been called, "the nostalgic romantic." The name is most fitting, and can easily be recognized in my paintings. Seldom do creative ideas come to me that donÆt represent a slower and kinder mood. "Victorian LadyÆs Crimson Roses," is my idea of Art Nouveau, 21st Century. Though I love duck decoys and sprays of wheat, this is my concept of the resurgence of a still life. I presented the floral bouquet and doily over a black background, slightly enhanced with a hint of lace to create a sexy French mood.
