When thinking of our times and the ways that we have progressed technologically, I realized that the things we use every day are things that have drastically changed since even the 1980's. There was no caller-id, there were no 2.4 GhZ cordless telephones. My still life selection became very simple; and then of course I had to add a flash from the past! The most significant link to this specific piece of contemporary technology in my mind is one from a popular song from the '80's. One way or another, everything will always tie together from our past into our future.
