"Wading In" is a reinterpretation of an earlier watercolor painting of my son and granddaughter. At the time he was single, but now has a family of his own. I substituted his son for the original watercolor image of his niece. I've used the watercolor palette and impressionistic style of the original painting and have tried to express here the feeling of love and protectiveness of a father towards his young son.
