I went to Florida to get warm over the winter, we walked on the beach and this wonderful toddler was enthralled with the birds and chasing them and running about... the birds all faced the same direction but when the little one came towards them, they would scatter and so fun to watch
The parents stayed nearby but there was a sense of freedom and happiness that I brought home with me.
I painted this from memory and I think this is forever etched in my mind... that little one slept well

I altered this one and painted out the child and umbrella and it is SOLD now. But I loved the initial painting too so am keeping it here for display
