This is a mixed media piece by Donna Pellegata, it consists of a little acrylic, a little hand made paper and glass beads, a little color pencil and watercolor , a little mat varnish on MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and ALOT of movement, . This is from my fArCiCaL fOlK ArT sisters series. I started this series right after my sister passed away from breast cancer in 2005. At that time my life came to a screeching halt and in trying to pull myself out of a spiraling slump, I wanted to create art that expressed the joy my sister always gave me. We were always on the move, she showed me places and things that I never thought I would see. If it wasn't for her I would not have had such a wonderful life. This particular piece is of my two daughters, sisters in their own world, happily dancing with the animals in the flower garden.
