This piece was inspired by the bird count for Cornell and Audubon. Normally we have several neighborhood geese that drop by for a few kernals of cracked corn but dont you just know on the day I most wanted to see them the skipped our house. I so wanted them to be in our backyard count. Oh well there is always next year!! At least I can use the goose for the Motion show. This painting was done using ARches 140lb. Hot press watercolor paper and Winsor Newton and Sennlier watercolors.
