Art: The Hulk in Progress (sold) by Artist Virginia Ann Zuelsdorf

This painting is an original created at my studio in Orlando a few years back.It measures 62" high by 26" wide. The medium is acrylic on canvas.

I was working as a scenic artist at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure at the time this was painted. This is the view I had while painting high up on a scaffold.....(.of course, the torso and legs weren't there).

My imagination saw the legs of the steel structure that holds up the Hulk roller coaster tracks as being human. I then turned the legs into a hulk of sorts. He's so massive that you can't see above his waist. He towers over everyone and every thing. He is majestic and heroic, as he holds up the roller coaster.
