"A Journey Through Darkness" and my other abstract landscape paintings are not specific landscapes, but a synthesis of the scenes which left permanent marks in my memory and my imagination.
The upper part of the painting is dominated by the lightness, while the lower part is captured by the darkness. The emotional/spiritual transition between these two forces is cut by the abstracted horizon.
The painting was created using acrylics and it is heavily textured. It was sold to a private collection in PA, USA.
