Cockatoos are the characters and comedians of the bird world. I spend a lot of time around parrots. I own an African Grey. This is an Umbrella Cockatoo, Max, owned by a friend. I have been friends with Max for 24 years.  He is part of the reason I got my African Grey, Taz. He spends most of his time outside of his cage. I put native Australian foliage , Eucalyptus, in this piece since that is where Umbrella Cockatoos are from.
