The origin of Boke which means "blur" or "haze" comes from the Japanese. The symbol in the picture is the word Boke. The english spelling of Bokeh was popularized in 1997 in Photo Techniques magazines.

I picked this picture because it is getting close to becoming fall and the background is definitely blurry. I like how clear the pumpkin and gourd is.
