This painting was done in acrylic on canvas. It was chosen at the time because a friend of mine had a photo of the Dome that he had taken while visiting Jerusalem. I used alot of glazing techniques to achieve the shadowing and a rubber pallete knife on the stone walls. The actual dome is painted with a gold iridescent paint and then lightly glazed to soften.
This is a COMMISSIONED piece I did of the "Dome of the Rock" in Jerusalem.
It is a LARGE 40"x48" GALLERY size and is perfect for that special spot in your home or office.
Gallery Value: $850.
This painting is SOLD and in the private collection of Naz.
