Took a long walk in the woods where I now live and gathered acorns, pine cones & branches to make a natural centerpiece - well, almost natural; the ferns came from recycled materials as well as the leaves. Had to do some "adjustments" to the acorns as they fall from their caps & have to be glued on. Varnish brings out the natural beauty in branches as well as the acorns. This took an afternoon to do but GREAT therapy!
