So I know you were wondering what happened to all those cool ancient Egyptian animal gods & mythical creatures after the Egyptians stopped believing in them. Why, they moved to Wiggly World of course! This is a bluebird Ba (pretty rare in ancient Egypt). I think she looks great in her fancy gold cobra headdress, don't you?
For those of you who don't know, a Ba is a human headed bird who is essentially a physical manifestation of the soul after death. According to my sources, one of the Ba's responsibilities was to fly around bringing air & food to the deceased during the daytime, and then meet up with Ra in the evenings & do whatever it is that souls do. I think this particular Ba is slacking off, unless that reddish puffy creature is lunch for the deceased (bleccch!). I'd hate to be HER deceased! Ba was created for the Nibblefest "Ancient Egypt" contest.
