I created this piece from a picture taken of a beautiful blue Iris in my yard. It bloomed a couple of years ago and I just recently did something with the image. I blurred the background and added several textural layers to it. I then opened up the part showing the iris so it could show through. After much experimentation to get it as I wanted it I created this final image. I am entering it in the Naturally Blue floral show here on EBSQ. It is for flowers that are blue without any enhancement...my blue iris has not been enhanced at all, this is how it came from the camera.
