Where else can you buy magic with a quarter?
Even today I like to be in the presence of a candy machine. This one sits in my Doctor’s office. One day the receptionist caught me snapping pictures and asked what I was doing. Talk about getting your hand caught in the cookie jar! I told her I am taking reference shots for painting your candy machine. OHH K, she replied, and then I asked her where else she had seen the old fashion candy machine in recent years. Nowhere was her reply. EXACTLY! That is why I had to do this picture. Candy Machines are a dying breed, at least in my neck of the woods. Next time you run into one, pause and remember the magic!
