My Grandmother was named Lila after the hauntingly fragrant Lily of the Valley. Their bright green pips are one of the earliest flowers to venture forth in our perennial beds in Early Spring. If you close your eyes, you can almost hear the delicate little white bells tinkling in the breeze.
