"Welch's Reward is a stunning surprise of dwarf bearded iris type. It is dainty yet inspiring in it's bold colors. A whole decorating scheme could be worked around this beauty."
Artist comment: "The lovely diminutive iris depicted in this watercolor on 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper is my husband's favorite. The combination of deep purple and greenish yellow is unique. I chose to portay three of the many blooms, to create a pleasing composition. The blossoms are arranged in a reverse "C" with the grey-green leaves curving around them to fill in the subject. I think the blue sky and brown earth, compliment the iris quite beautifully."
