Bright colorful tulips inspired by the annual Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan, near my home. This is a tongue-in-cheek "Tulip Tree" :) I love greeting cards and made the greeting card below with this painting by copying and cutting many tulips, mounting them on foamcore and creating a 3-D effect on the original work - the tulips are behind and in front of each other in this collage. And I added my own poetry inspired by the emerald green Michigan spring colors.
