Artist comment: "This is an outstandingly beautiful site in Trinidad, California. It sets serene and alone high above the ocean. I found it to be a fitting tribute to the men (and women) who were lost at sea over the many decades of the fishing industry here. The media of gouache seems to echo the soft tranquillity of the scene."
