- Giant Flower Forest 1 Cobbly Gnome Man SOLD
This fantasy watercolor and wc dye painting is #1 in my series of 3 Giant Flower Forest paintings. This one is entitled "Cobbly Man Grumps a Tune." You will notice that all of the characters speak or sing - given my graphic design background, paintings aren't complete unless there are words on them, no? The frames are hand painted too in my original leaf design and coated with 4 coats of gloss varnish so they are very SHINEY.
These are painted with watercolor, dyes, ink, pencil, acrylic inks and the finest synthetic non-fur brushes using all archival materials. These three paintings are currently on display at a local art center and have all been sold. (yay!)
Since I have been fortunate enough to illustrate one published children's book, I of course long for more. I have stories and scenes planned out in my head for these characters and hope to do another book with them someday.
