"The tower of the Cape Blanco Lighthouse seems to reach up to the sky to match the glow of the afternoon sunshine and add to the 'light in the sky'."
Artist comment: "When I see an opportunity to explore the marvelous complexities of color, I am all too happy to 'go for it'. Here I wanted to not only convey the afternoon warmth in the sky and tower of the lighthouse, but to play up the complimentary color in the shadows. I have painted Cape Blanco lighthouse on several other occasions, and am always delighted when new possibilities present themselves."
