This painitng was created using Architect Wing as a reference. The palette was dictated by colors present in the support, a scrap of dyed canvas I had left over from the creation of another painting. This scrap also had something of a wing pattern evident in the dyes, so I decided to try my hand at reproducing one of my digital works in paint. The subject is a dead mosquito at may thousands of times magnification via scanning electron microscope. I produced the original photograph with the microscope to make the digital piece.
