I seem to have an affinity for the Pop Art style as I was totally enraptured by comic books in my youth. Even now, I find myself drawn to them. One April in Chicago, I was privileged to attend a Pop Art exhibit featuring Roy Lichtenstein and he has had a powerful influence on my work. ever since.
This acrylic on stretched canvas depicts an anxious woman looking through a window. She has been waiting for someone for a long time and expected the phone might ring at any moment to allay her fears.
