"What could be more perfect than a glorious morning 'at the edge of the sea' before crowds of people come 'round? There is a moment of solitude. Just you , the rocks, and the sea."
Artist comment: "The 'best part of the day' is the part where I can stand with sketch pad and camera to capture the drama and magic of the ocean. When there was a high overcast and just enough filtered sunlight to cause the offshore rocks to glow with warmth, I captured this scene, and later painted it in my studio."
