I made this piece after I was watering a co-workers plants while she was off somewhere fabulous. Her office violets were blooming. Then I noted that the EBSQ's flower show was violets and won the Patron's Choice award

I used a wood panel purchased from Michael's, a mix of stained glass, Van Gogh glass and mirror "Silverback" glass by Spectrum. For grout I used 3 different colors black with the earth tones, a light green for the leaves and purple for the violet flower portion.
