- Saint Francis Ball sold
I purchased a few ceramic garden balls last Spring then took a class with Ellen Blakeley at the Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland, Ca. This ball was created using techniques I learned from Ms. Blakeley.
I started by stripping the paint from the ceramic ball and then sealing with Kilz sealer suitable for outdoor use. Then, using a variety of colors, I painted the ball with abstract patterns as well as St. Francis of Assisi. What better Saint for a garden?
I then adhered the tempered glass to the ball and grouted with a charcoal grout. The ball has been sealed and is ready for your home or garden.
