This piece was an attempt to use mediterrainian colors to match someones decor. I think by constraining my color choices, some of my creativity was lost. I still love this piece, but I know I could have done better. I used ceramic tile, glass gems, jewelry pieces and other glass tiles. I had to use a wet saw to bevel the frame pieces and spent alot of time doing something that did not significantly improve the look of the piece.
Next time, no beveling on the outer frame edges.
