"The wind has been blowing steadily all day, whipping frothy foam off the tips of breaking waves. Several gulls make a late afternoon fly-over, hoping for a last bite to eat before day's end."
Artist comment: "In this scene, I imagined the setting to be an early winter afternoon when skies are grey and the surf is a very soft aqua. I inserted a lone gull to add to the scale of the wave and the feeling of solitude I found at the edge of the sea."
