Art: Tilly the Art Doll by Artist Dianne McGhee
Tilly had a temper and she lived to 92. And when she had a tantrum her body turned all blue. Now maybe this is funny and you don't believe it's true, but if you hold your breath in long enough, it just might happen to you. Introducing one-of-a-kind stained glass, fused glass, mixed media, art dolls. Each doll is created out of glass with a fused glass face stained glass body. She measures a full 11 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The body is created from a very expensive piece of mottled Uroborus stained glass that is just gorgeous when the sun shines through it. It has been jazzed up with copper accent trim. It has a coppery finish complete with polka dot solder which has been sealed and polished for long life. Her legs dangle off her body and her shoes are made of copper. The fused faces on these are unique in the sense that no two will ever come out the same. So if one of them is talking to you, you better grab her up after we have a talk with the men in the white coats. After all, glass canít talk. The eyes sparkle because they are created from dichroic glass which only comes alive when heated. The hair is designed with free flowing copper wire in a style that can only be achieved by her hairdresser. This original art will make her a unique collectors item for years to come. Art dolls come signed and dated for added value.
