Glass Art Warm Art Gallery

Art: The Frenchman by Artist Dianne McGhee
Why is it that people just love things that come on a stick. Think about it. Corndogs on a stick, carmel apples on a stick, marshmellows on a stick. Things are just more fun when you put them on a stick. So I'm introducing, Hot Glass on a Stick. Well, actually the glass was just warm in the glass world because it was kiln fired. Hot glass is anything that has been worked in an open flame. Iíve had lots of fun creating these new little art stakes for your garden. Each one is original, and one-of-a-kind. These whimsical creatures are loaded with personality that center around the expressions on their little fused glass faces. This Frenchman is wearing a a funny little hat. He is made from iridescent white glass and has a tiny moustache. Heís been decorated and jazzed up with colorful stained glass. Each one is accessorized with copper frills and freckles of decorative soldering. Just the embellished area of the face measures 3.5 x 4.5 inches, not including the glass bead below it. Since these are individually created and so unique, no two will ever be exact. If your plants are dull now, they wonít ever be again with the addition of these little fused face art stakes.
