Art: The Goblin-Fairy by Artist Kathleen A. Roberson
The Goblin-Fairy is an idea that I came up with years ago, and originally drew in black. I decided to actually paint a version of her last night to bring her more vitality and life. The idea behind this is that there are creatures in fantasy land that deal with the same problems as we humans do. This Goblin wants so badly to become a "Fairy Princess," and tries to do so with her magic ball... to no avail. There is a happy ending to this story, so keep an eye out for the next piece. Colors represented are almost all jewel tone, and the sides have been painted as a continuation of the front so there is really no need for framing. Please Note* The blue that shows up as her body is actually a PURPLE color. My digital camera inverts the colors for some reason. I will be finishing this painting with a non-yellowing, glossy coat of varnish before shipping for added clarity of colors. This is an ORIGINAL, one of a kind painting, created by me, Kathleen A. Roberson, and I have signed it on the lower left-hand corner. As with any of my auctions, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. In whatever piece of art you choose to buy, thank you for stopping by and viewing my art, and for supporting self-representing artists.
